The world is at your fingertips with Sky Box Office. It offers movies, sports and other top entertainment events and all available with your Sky Remote Control.

And remember, to be able to get the Sky Box Office facility, your Sky box has to be connected to a working telephone line.

First things first; you need to find the Sky Box Office menu. You do this by pressing Box Office on your remote control which brings up the menu. Next step is to select the listing format that suits you. This might be the Movies By Start Time facility which shows the next films to be shown. Then, once you have chosen what you want from the listing, highlight the programme you want to order and press select.

Once you have pressed Select, the Sky Box Office will provide the necessary instructions on your TV screen. You will then be asked to select a start time and for your viewing card PIN. If the programme is showing then, or about to start, then your Sky box automatically tunes to it. If it is due to start later, then the programme will be inserted into your viewing Planner and you will receive a reminder message one minute before it is due to start.

If you want to watch a Sky Box Office programme before its normal watershed time - say a 12, or 15 rated programme before 8pm, or an 18-rated movie before 10pm - then you will need to enter your viewing card PIN.

Charging for Sky Box Office programmes could not be simpler. Programmes booked via your remote control appear on your account at the next available payment date. But bear in mind, that you will be charged for a programme if you watch any part of it. You cannot watch say the first five minutes and then change your mind. But, if you make a genuine mistake and order a programme by error, and don't watch any part of it, then you won't be charged. So it's up to you to keep an eye on want you are ordering. Remember, if you make a mistake, don't watch the programme and you won't be charged.

You can also order Sky Box Office programmes over the phone. Check online for a telephone contact number, but programmes and movies ordered this way are subject to an administration charge.
