1. What is Sky?

2. How can I join Sky TV & How Can I Arrange for a Professional Installation?
Joining Sky TV is easy. You can join Sky TV online by following our three easy steps. If you order online, you can select a convenient installation date during the ordering process. Ordering online takes just 10 minutes.

3. How long is the minimum contract for?
The minimum subscription period is 12 months.

4. How much will Sky TV cost me each month?
It's more affordable than you might think. Sky Basic Entertainment Pack (without premium channels), can be taken with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 pack and ranges from £18.00 to £48.50 a month. The top package, Sky World (which includes all Sky Sports & Sky Movie channels and the entertainment pack) is £48.50 a month. Of course, you can select the package that suits you.

5. What packages does Sky offer?
Now you can build your ideal package, so you only pay for the kind of channels you want, and not those you don’t. Just choose from our six specialist entertainment packs - Variety, Kids, Knowledge, Style & Culture, Music and News & Events – then add on Movies Pack and/or Sports Pack if you want.

Sky TV programming gives you access to more than 100 quality, movie, sport, variety, knowledge, kids, music, style & culture and news & events channels, as well as 160 non subscription TV and radio channels on digital satellite. Subscribers can also order recently released movies at the touch of a button with Sky Box Office.

6. When is the Digital Switchover happening?
Digital switchover is scheduled to commence in 2008 and should be completed in 2012. This will be scheduled by the different TV regions and is called digital switchover. The existing signal 'Analogue' will be discontinued at that time and replaced with a 'digital' signal. Once this has happened, any TV, DVD recorder, VHS recorder that does not have digital capability to receive the channels will no longer receive TV programmes.
